Women’s Issues

For what gets asked of women and rarely named as a demand.

A great deal of what women bring to therapy is not pathology. It is the accumulated cost of being responsible for other people’s comfort, and of having that expectation described as personality.

I work from a feminist and relational perspective, which means we can take seriously that some of what you are dealing with is structural without that becoming a reason to do nothing about it.

What this can look like

  • Being the default person for everyone’s logistics and feelings
  • Apologising as punctuation
  • Anger you were never allowed to have and now can’t locate
  • Feeling invisible in a life you built
  • Changing shape depending on who is in the room

How I work with this

We work on what is yours to change and get clear about what is not. Both matter — a lot of women arrive having been told everything is theirs to fix.
