Where I see clients
All sessions are online by secure video. I am licensed in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
I work by video rather than in an office, which means where you live inside Pennsylvania or Virginia makes no difference to whether I can see you. What matters is which state you are physically in during a session — that is what licensure follows.
The pages below are written for particular places because those places are genuinely different: what people are carrying in Prince William County is not what people are carrying on the Main Line, and pretending otherwise would be a waste of your time. If your area is not listed, that has no bearing on whether I can work with you. It only means I have not written the page yet.
Therapy in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is where I trained and where my practice began. I am licensed here and see adults anywhere in the state by secure video.
Therapy in Virginia
I am licensed in Virginia and see adults anywhere in the state by secure video. My work centers on trauma, relationships, and the patterns that outlast the situations that created them.
Does it matter where in the state I live?
No. Sessions are online, so I can work with adults anywhere in Pennsylvania or Virginia. What matters is that you are physically located in one of those two states during our sessions, because that is how licensure works.
What if I move, or travel a lot?
Tell me early. If you move to a state I am not licensed in, I cannot continue seeing you there, and I would rather plan that transition with you than have it arrive as a surprise. Short trips are usually workable — it is worth raising before you book anything.
Do you have an office?
Not at present. All sessions are held online. You will need somewhere private where you won’t be interrupted and a reliable connection.
